Embark on an exciting 5-day safari adventure through some of Kenya’s most iconic destinations. From the famous Maasai Mara, where you’ll witness incredible wildlife and the Great Migration (seasonal), to the bird-rich Lake Nakuru, and finally to the scenic beauty of Lake Naivasha, this safari offers a perfect blend of game viewing, breathtaking landscapes, and serene experiences.
Tour Plan
Begin your journey with a pick-up from your hotel or the airport in Nairobi. You’ll then depart for the Maasai Mara National Reserve, driving through the scenic Great Rift Valley. Arrive at your lodge or camp in time for lunch. In the afternoon, set off for your first game drive in the Maasai Mara, a haven for wildlife, including the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino). Return to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Spend the entire day exploring the Maasai Mara. You will have morning and afternoon game drives to maximize your chances of spotting wildlife. During the Great Migration season, you may witness the dramatic river crossings of wildebeests and zebras. Lunch will be served either as a picnic in the reserve or back at the lodge. End the day with dinner and relaxation at your lodge or camp.
After breakfast, depart from the Maasai Mara and head towards Lake Nakuru National Park. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, renowned for its population of flamingos and white rhinos. The park is also home to a variety of bird species, lions, leopards, and Rothschild giraffes. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, depart for Lake Naivasha, a beautiful freshwater lake set amidst stunning landscapes. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge or camp and have lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Naivasha, where you can observe hippos and various bird species, including pelicans and cormorants. You may also take a nature walk on Crescent Island (optional). Afterward, return to your lodge or camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
On the final day, after breakfast, take a leisurely morning to enjoy the scenic surroundings of Lake Naivasha. You may opt for another nature walk or simply relax at your lodge. Later, depart for Nairobi with a stopover for lunch. Arrive in Nairobi in the late afternoon, where your safari adventure concludes with a drop-off at your hotel or the airport.
