Your safari adventure begins with a pick-up from Nairobi in the morning, followed by a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley to the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. You will arrive at your lodge or camp in time for lunch. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive across the rolling plains, where you will encounter a rich variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, cheetahs, and possibly leopards. Afterward, return to the lodge or camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
Today, you will spend the entire day exploring the Maasai Mara. The morning and afternoon game drives will provide ample opportunities to spot the Big Five—lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, and buffalo. During the Great Migration (between July and October), you may witness thousands of wildebeest and zebras crossing the Mara River. Lunch can either be enjoyed as a picnic in the park or at your lodge. In the evening, return to your accommodation for dinner and relaxation.
After an early breakfast, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in time for lunch at your lodge. In the afternoon, head out on a game drive through the park, which is known for its large populations of flamingos, white rhinos, and other bird species. You may also spot lions, leopards, and Rothschild giraffes in the park. Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, begin your journey towards Amboseli National Park, with a stop for lunch along the way. You’ll arrive at Amboseli in the late afternoon and check into your lodge or camp. Take some time to relax and enjoy the stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro, which serves as the perfect backdrop to the park's vast open plains. In the evening, enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge or camp in Amboseli.
Spend the entire day exploring Amboseli National Park. The morning and afternoon game drives will take you to the best wildlife viewing spots in the park, where you can observe large herds of elephants, as well as lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, and numerous bird species. The majestic Mount Kilimanjaro provides a picturesque setting for your safari photos. Return to your lodge or camp in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.
Today, enjoy another full day in Amboseli. You will have the opportunity to go on more game drives, capturing the morning and late afternoon light for perfect wildlife sightings and photos. Between game drives, you can relax at your lodge or camp, or choose to visit a local Maasai village to learn about their culture and way of life (optional activity). Afterward, return to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.
On the final day of your safari, enjoy an early morning game drive to make the most of your last moments in the wilderness. After breakfast, check out from your lodge or camp and begin the drive back to Nairobi, with a stopover for lunch along the way. Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon, where your safari adventure concludes with a drop-off at your hotel or the airport.
